Moorings & Storage

We offer very competitive rates for all of our services, including annual moorings, short-stay visitor berths, and winter hardstanding storage. Prices are tailored according to the length overall (LOA), beam, and type of vessel. Please contact us for an exact quote.

Yes, we provide secure all-year-round storage as well as seasonal winter hardstanding. Our boatyard accommodates power and water access points for winterization and maintenance tasks.

Yes! We have extensive experience with boat maintenance, woodwork, hull repairs, engine servicing, and sourcing replacement parts. Contact our yard manager to discuss your vessel's requirements.

Access, Tides & Security

Yes, berth holders have 24/7 access to the yard through our electronic security gate. Please note that Martlesham Creek is tidal, meaning boat entry and departure by water is subject to high water times. We recommend checking our Tide Times page when planning sails.

Security is paramount. The facility features an automated electric security gate, security floodlighting, continuous high-definition CCTV coverage across the yard and berths, and staff on-site 24/7.

Woodland, Visitors & Pets

Absolutely! If you are enjoying a cruise along the River Deben and need somewhere peaceful to moor up for a few days or weeks, we warmly welcome visitors. Many of our visiting skippers return on a regular basis.

Yes. A designated Public Footpath runs directly through the area, and boatyard patrons are welcome to explore the 17 acres of tranquil woodland surrounding the yard. It is a picturesque setting for picnics, walks, and birdwatching.

Yes, of course! We simply ask that pets are kept under control and on a lead while inside the working boatyard for health and safety reasons around boats, ropes, and machinery.
